Submissions are open for the Sharonlea Jamboree Family Fun Day taking place on Saturday September the 4th. The event is aimed at families, in particular children and is a fundraiser for the suburb of Lower Sharonlea, Randburg.
Local and national businesses are invited to participate in the event which is planned to be marketed to the public of Sector 6 in Johannesburg North. Businesses and individuals who feel they may benefit from association with the event may do so through cash donations, in-kind sponsorships and barter agreements in return for brand positioning and certain rights.

Planned activities and areas include a flea market, picnic site, paint ball target shooting range, pony rides, special jumping castles, go cart rides, mini carousel and many others.
Food, wine and malt will be on sale as well as a tea and specialised coffee garden. The S.A. vs Aus and Bulls vs Sharks rugby games will also be viewed on a big screen.
